E.T?

Poor Luke has been very poorly! He suddenly got really ill at nursery school yesterday & couldn't breathe so Lee took him to the doctor who sent for an ambulance to take him to Alder Hey Children's Hospital. Luke LOVED going in the ambulance! In true Luke style he had the A & E staff giggling; he kept saying in his most dramatic tone, 'I've got a problem! I've got a problem! (gasping for breath between each word) then when the nurse asked him what was wrong he'd say 'I NEED to buy a yellow ambulance from Tesco'! Luke was admitted to the hospital ward yesterday afternoon & had to have an oxygen mask on all the time, nebulizer every 2 hours & inhalers. He had a monitor strapped to his finger- Luke likes his red light finger!! Needless to say, what with nebulizers & other patients crying neither Luke or Lee slept very well last night!
I went in to the hospital to see Luke this morning thanks to the help of my friend Emma who took Jordan & Timmy to school then drove me to Alder Hey. It was good to see Luke & Lee. While I was there Luke's oxygen levels stabilised so he could come off the oxygen mask (which was just as well as he was getting irritated by it!). He is having the nebulizer medicine in the photo above. The doctor said Luke could just be having a bad reaction to the cold virus that he has or it could be the start of asthma... Let's hope not though...

Emma went to pick Timmy up from nursery & took him back to her house for lunch while I came back from the hospital (in a taxi- Annie's first time!). It's Emma's son's birthday party tomorrow so Timmy & Emma's daughter made the birthday cake together! Apparently they had a wonderful time doing it! And when Emma took her daughter to nursery (the same one as the boys go to) this afternoon the teachers said they would take Timmy for the afternoon session too! I feel very blessed!

Thankyou all so much for your support & prayers it is much appreciated! You have all made it so much easier to deal with. Hopefully Luke is on the mend & will be home soon...
