Thirty Two

The month of March is birthday month for me & Lee! I was 32 on March 4th. I was full of cold & not feeling at all well (see mug of Lemsip next to birthday cake!) but despite that I had a lovely day. Lee took the day off work & let me have a lie in while he took the boys to school. At lunch time we went out for a delicious meal at a little cafe in Woolton called Neighbourhood Cafe. It has shelves full of books which you can read while you're there & they have a weekly book club & often have live music in the evenings. It's a small place & it's always full. Timmy & Luke went to play at a friends house after nursery so it was brilliant to have some 'grown up time' to chat together (Annie was asleep in her car seat perched neatly on the chair next to me!).
After lunch we went round to our friend Jean's house for a cuppa & a chat. it was so lovely to catch up with her. I felt rather spoilt to have had just a few hours quality time with Lee & Jean during the day. The sun also shone on my birthday!
Two weeks later it was Lee's turn to celebrate his 32nd birthday! Again Lee took the day off work & we went our for lunch just the 3 of us. This time we went to the Pub in the Park- a gorgeous old period house set in Clarke Gardens. It's beautiful inside with lots of the original features like the sweeping staircases that curve around from the left & the right hand sides of the circular entrance hall up to what are now offices but that would have been bedrooms when the pub was a home. It was a lovely afternoon & we enjoyed celebrating in a quiet way. Thankyou to everyone who sent us cards, presents, texts, e-mails & messages. We are very grateful! ;0) (PS Photos were taken in our new kitchen so you get a little idea of what it's like!)

What an amazing piccie of the family with Lee - you did well! Yes, you do look poorly on your birthday. So glad you are better than you were and are able to tackle a few challenges such as cake making and grass cutting. Have fun!
Love Mum
Ps hello girls hope you're all well especially in your new homes.
