My Beach Boy

It's our 12th wedding anniversary today! How time flies! The other day Lee came home from a visit to his parents with 3 very old & worn out photo albums full of these little gems! I was over the moon because I had never seen pictures of Lee as a child except for one or two from when he was 14 & his school photo when he was 12. Lee's parents aren't ones for taking photos really you see. They found these photo albums under the bed!!!! I was wondering why Lee's parents took a bouncy chair to the beach & then I realised that back in the 70s there were no baby car seats & this was probably how Lee travelled in the car! How times change eh?
This photo is of baby Lee with his 2 older brothers Mark & Karl & their mum Lorraine. They were camping somewhere but I don't know where!
Love this photo of Lee! What a cutie! I have no idea where or when it was taken but I guess Lee was about 3 years old.
Lee on a family camping holiday in France.
Lee & his brothers playing table football on another family holiday (or perhaps it's the same one?).
Love this picture!!! Ah! The days before digital photos when you had to get the film developed & wait to see whether you got nice pictures or not & then discover after spending £5 or so on developing them that you'd forgotten to use the flash or chopped off people's heads!!!!
Second attempt was a bit better though! At least we can see that Lee is on the slide with his brother Karl!
Lee with a Christmas present. Now doesn't that game date the picture?!
This is Lee when he got baptised in his Uncle John's church not long after he became a Christian at a Billy Graham Crusade.
Lee's has always been a cheerful cheeky chappie! He always tells me that that's why I married him... I guess it is in part :o) Happy anniversary Lee! Here's to the next 12 years!

It's a lovely piece of history and it's good to see the family resemblances especially in Luke and Jordan. No wonder you fell for him! He looked so young!!!!!
Nice to share your anniversary yesterday with the Davies 'crowd' at Chirk. Hopefully you won't have to call the RAC man again on another anniversary day!
Ps we did have car seats for you in the 70s- but not so easy as yours now. We had to have them fitted at the garage and the carry cot restraint straps too!
love Mum
