Good Saturday?

It seems I am fighting a loosing battle to keep my blog up to date at the moment but I am going to stubbornly persist! Here are some piccies from our Easter Saturday walk with my sister Helen & her husband Ian. All over the park are large areas covered with daffodils as part of the Marie Curie Field of Hope. As my mother would say, they are GLORIOUS!! ;o)
AJ admired them for a long time while I took photos & picked up all the broken flower stems to take home.
I love this park bench & lamppost nestling between the trees at the top of the hill!
Putney & Cheyne enjoyed a dip in the stream. They pulled Helen out of the water & up the bank with great enthusiasm!
Luke contemplating the duck weed & wondering if there was in fact, any water there at all.
Timmy jumping the stepping stones. Yes, he made it without a splash! :o)
A gorgeous pair of swans resting beside a misty rainbow....
....and another lovely pair sharing ice creams!
Jordan can hardly believe how big his ice cream is!!!!
Putney & Cheyne look up hopeful of some ice cream of their own. No such luck though!
Ever in search of 'the perfect' arty photo I got left behind the rest of the family as we walked back to the car. Only my little shadow & her dolly stayed with me, eager to be in my pictures!
Luke cycling off into the horizon. He has just recently learnt to ride his bike without stabilizers! And Timmy too! Clever boys! More about that later!
Maybe this was the shot I was trying to capture? Have I told you I really love these lampposts?? Yes, I thought so!
And the broken, dirt covered & insect nibbled daffodils in all their glory on the kitchen window sill at home. They were worth all the glares & comments from folk in the park who tut tutted because they thought I had picked them! And after lunch we all enjoyed watching The Boat Race. I was really glad Cambridge won at last! Helen was miffed that Oxford lost! Ah! It was indeed a good Saturday! Thanks for visiting us Helen & Ian! :o)

Beautiful blogging! The park looks great. What a blessing parks are, especially in a big city. I like being able to click on your pics for a full-sized view. Thank you as always for super postings!
