After a trip to cafe at Delamere Forest one day the boys discovered that blueberry muffins taste delicious! So we had a go at making our own at home (thanks for the recipe & inspiration Angie!). I love our new oven because it is at the right height for the boys to look into easily & see what's cooking!

Another great feature of our new kitchen is the built in dishwasher! This is what a dishwasher looks like when you have 4 small children in the house!

It has been great moving house in many ways not least because the boys have discovered all kinds of toys & games they had forgotten about. They love playing this Martian game; the martians wobble up & down in the 'planet' & then you bash them with the hammers to collect them up! It's a bit noisy but lots of fun!

The boys love all the stairs & landings in our new house. They love sitting on the living room landing floor with their legs dangling down towards the ground floor. Another favourite game on the stairs is called Ball Show. It's basically bouncing balls up or down the stairs accompanied by lots of laughter & a bit of wildness!!! ;0)

At the beginning of May we took the boys to watch their first football match.... It was our church football team playing in the play offs of Merseyside Christian League Division 2. It has to be said that the muddy puddle created more interest than the match for Timmy & Luke....

....and Jordan preferred to play football.... He loved that the football pitch was in Jericho Lane beside the River Jordan. (Bet you never knew there was a River Jordan in Liverpool eh?!)

... but they all enjoyed the half time snack & shouting at the top of their voices from the side lines 'Come on Frontline!' or 'Come on you reds!' Unfortunately Frontline lost to Quest 3-0 & were relegated to Division 3. :0(

When the match was over the boys took the opportunity to score a few goals themselves! It was great to go & support the team even if they lost.

We are loving the community atmosphere in our new street! Somehow our boys & the 3 kids next door decided that it would be great to wash the neighbours car together! I'm not sure the car was washed very well but the kids certainly had a lot of fun doing it!

Timmy & Luke have also developed a new technique for helping me peg the washing out on the line!

All this helping around the house has worn the boys out! They conked out on the sofa after school one afternoon whilst watching the telly! I thought they'd gone very quiet!

Ooh, it's really good to have the blog back! I love the bit about conked out boys! I thought no one used that expression any more!
Heaps of love, Ken xxxxxx
I think I may be the only one to use that expression.... come to think of it, I've never heard anyone else use it except for us Okines anyway!
I am sad to say that I do not keep my oven that sparkling clean!!! Argh!!!!!!!!!!! xxx
